Total marvel of aesthetically realized bedroom pop, drawing not on endless layers of haze but on melodically intricate and self-effacing Postcard Recs vibes. The download-only cover of "Take a Bow" is not to be missed. Being out of town for the full-band iteration of VV at XRA 2013 is one of my bitterest near-misses.
